Your tournament fees get you a weekend of fabulous frisbee fun with our famous field food and a saturday night party. The bar is set high in Kamloops and we will try to keep it that way!

The official tournament campsite is the Kamloops Therapeutic Riding Assn at 730 Crestline St. in Kamloops, BC.

Air Quality Policy (in place specifically for Big Thirst Tournament to be held July 13/14 2019 and all future events):
KULS will be using the Air Quality Health Index (AQHI) in conjunction with reference to the policies in place for Kamloops Youth Soccer Association ("KYSA") and the British Columbia Soccer Association ("BCSA") when determining whether to postpone or cancel events due to air quality concerns.


Based on the above references and policies that these organizations have in place for their sporting events that they adhere to in terms of postponing or cancelling events, the KULS will cancel the Big Thirst tournament if the AQHI air quality level on the Wednesday (as measured at noon on July 10, 2019) is 10 or higher (as the assumption at that time will be that the air quality will not get down to a sufficiently low level by the weekend to allow the playing of games), and will cancel the event day of (Saturday, July 13, 2019) if the AQHI air quality level as measured on AQHI’s website (which is updated every hour) ever gets higher than a 7 – monitored throughout the day at the start of each game as games are played. This is in line with the policies that are in place by the above sporting organizations.


Cancellation Policy:
For cancellation up to two weeks prior to the tourney (before June 29th), full refund of deposit less 10% ($315 refunded, withhold $35). For cancellation between two weeks and tourney start, 50% of deposit ($175 refunded). Team no-show results in forfeit of deposit. Direct refunds due to extreme weather cancellations will be made only to the extent that pre-paid costs can be recovered; we cannot guarantee full refunds in these instances, but will do everything in our power to offer a fair compromise, which may include carrying partial credits to future-year tournaments.
